Chester silver thimble, Charles Horner 1913, size 7
Chester silver thimble by Charles Horner - the icon of British thimblemakers. The thimble is hallmarked for 1913.
The thimble is in a pretty floral pattern complimented with a diamond patterned band above the lipped base. It is in a size 7 and weighs 5g.
This is a lovely collectable antique in a precious metal.
Condition is good, with no holes. Surface scratches are as to be expected with a vintage item. The overall impression of this thimble is that it is robust, functional and pretty.
Height is 2.25cm/0.9 inches
Maximum diameter is 1.5cm/0.6 inches
