5 gold plated demitasse or coffee spoons, embossed throughout
5 small demitasse or coffee spoons, embossed with a floral scroll pattern to the back and front of the bowls, from which stems a beautiful woven leaf handle.
There is an embossed rose to the finial.
These tiny spoons are very unusual examples of vintage cutlery and I think they were probably made in continental Europe rather than the UK. They are the perfect item to adorn the saucer to an Espresso-sized cup, and being in a relatively thin metal would not overwhelm the most delicate china! Their gold colour perfectly matches the gilt finish of bone china coffee cups, as the above photo shows.
The spoons are 8.5 cm/3.5 inches long.
The spoons are in good vintage condition. Any surface scratches are lost in the decoration. Gilt wear is minimal.
Please view the photographs carefully to ensure you are happy with the description and condition before bidding. I am always willing to answer queries and provide more photographs on request.
Postage will be by signed and tracked delivery due to the high value of the spoons.
