2 German Friedel musician figurines, tuba & squeezebox players
Charming pair of urchin musician pottery figurines by Friedel of West Germany, probably dating to the decade following the Second World War.
These cheeky chappies with the angelic faces and rosy cheeks are a scruffy pair - pockets hanging out of trousers, baggy knees and over-sized coats. They will certainly add some heart-warming character to the display cabinet!
The pieces are hand-painted and signed to the under-base.
Condition is good, without chips or cracks. There may be some small scratches and flecks of glazing loss which you would expect of a vintage pottery item.
Height is 14 cm/5.5 inches and approximate width is 8 cm/3 inches.
Please view the photographs carefully to ensure you are happy with the description and condition before bidding. I am always willing to answer queries and provide more photographs on request.
