Ceramic fish figurine by Jema of Holland, an example of good quality lustreware by this Dutch pottery, probably dating to the 1950s.

The figurine is model number 385 in the Aquatic collection.

The fish has beautifully moulded scales which bounce the rainbow lustre glaze off the teal blue and cream body with very pretty effect. The fish is in an animated arched position which makes an eye-catching feature for any shelf or niche in a kitchen, conservatory or marine-themed bathroom.

Height is 20 cm/8 inches; length is 14 cm/5.25 inches; width is 8 cm/3 inches

Condition is good, No chips or cracks. There are a couple of pinprick nibbles to the glaze at the top edge where they are barely visible. there is no noticeable crazing.
