Indian Tree design small shallow dishes, set of 6, Woods Burslem
6 dessert dishes in the Indian Tree pattern beloved of the early decades of the 20th century. The dishes were produced in Staffordshire by Woods of Burslem.
Being small and shallow, the dishes are ideal for light desserts or starters. These dishes would also make good serving dishes for sauces, Parmesan cheese, nuts, sweets etc. They would therefore make a versatile addition to any dinner set in the same or similar pattern.
It is understood that the mark to the base dates the dishes from 1931 to the late 1940s.
Diameter is 13cm/5 inches. Height is 3cm/1.25 inches.
Condition is good. There are no chips or cracks. There are some surface scratches from previous use, as you would expect of a vintage item.
Please view the photographs carefully to ensure you are happy with the description and condition before bidding. I am always willing to answer queries and provide more photographs on request.
