Silver plated fish cutlery butter yellow handles, red hinged box
6 silver plated fish knives and 6 fish forks presented in a dark leatherette red hinged box with blue silk lining.
The cutlery has a simple foliar pattern along the knife edges and the handles are in a butter yellow with a polished finish. I cannot be sure whether the cutlery is natural or faux bone, but it is very good quality with an EPNS A grading to the plating on the blades.
The cutlery probably dates to the 1930s. The maker was T E Osborne of Sheffield, England.
Knife length is 20 cm (8 inches)
Fork length is 17.5cm (7 inches)
The cutlery is in good vintage condition. Light surface scratches to the blades but no plate wear. Box condition is clean and sound with just a few marks and scuffs to the top.
Please view the photographs carefully to ensure you are happy with the description and condition before bidding. I am always willing to answer queries and provide more photographs on request.
