Engraved Victorian jam spoon, Kings Pattern sterling silver handle
Victorian jam spoon with a sterling silver handle in the King's Pattern and a large shaped silver plated bowl.
The spoon has Art Nouveau floral engraving to the upper surface of the bowl and a barley twist stem.
The handle to the spoon is hallmarked for Sheffield in 1897 - the year celebrating Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee.
This is a very pretty antique silver spoon which would lend a touch of charm and elegance to the tea table.
Condition is good to commensurate with age. The main sign of wear and tear is the patches of plate wear and a few pocks to the back and front of the spoon bowl. No significant dings or dents to the silver handle.
The jam spoon is 19.5cm/7.6 inches long
